FUSE XM: Summer 2025 (Part 1)

Because how can we showcase the amazing work we do in just one post!

We are in the midst of summer and we at FUSE have been making our presence known, taking up space and of course … Turning Heads. 

These past few weeks have been quite busy for us. We kicked off the summer with two activations for two clients at the RBC Canadian Open: Dobel and Hilton – each unique and capturing the essence of their brands.  

 

Dobel

Dobel had a prime location at the RBC Canadian Open, so we knew our activation had to be a memorable one! We set out to create an elevated brand experience to give attendees a moment of refreshment that complemented the action. At the heart of it all was our signature cocktail.  

That’s how we landed on the Dobel Watermelon Palmer, a fresh twist on a classic, channelling one of the greats, Arnold Palmer, with a blend of watermelon lemonade and Dobel’s Diamante tequila. 

Served at our sleek, black-branded booth, the Dobel Watermelon Palmer became more than just a cocktail; it was the sip-worthy centerpiece. The activation was incredibly well received, with strong sales and high engagement that reinforced Dobel as the choice for modern tequila drinkers. 

Hilton

Also at the RBC Canadian Open was a revamped version of Hilton on the Green. This year, we wanted to do something a bit different and thus, “Gourmet on the Green” was created.  

We offered three winners and their guests a private six-course meal right on the green of the golf course after playing time was complete on the Saturday.  

The chef, Chef German Ghelfi from Conrad Punta de Mita, was flown in from Mexico, where he brought authentic Mexican ingredients and prepared their meals for them right on the course.  

It was a beautiful candlelit dinner, set against the relaxing ambiance of the outdoors, bringing the escapism of resort life to Osprey Valley – a great way to close out a very successful weekend where we got to show off two of our amazing clients and the brilliant team members behind the success.  

 

Milenio 

Keeping on the tequila wave, we got to spotlight 1800’s tequila at LCBO’s Viva Tequila event in Toronto. This event had over 50 different tequilas you could sample, along with live music and small bites.  

Our team wanted to create something that would complement the luxury 1800 brings to the table with their newest bottle, the Milenio, and so, we created a hidden speakeasy within the event.  

The Milenio Cocktail Lounge was filled with specs of gold, purple and black detailing, making sure guests felt as luxurious as the drink itself. We can definitely tip our hats to the XM team for creating a wildly popular experience!

Grenade Texas 

While all these events are local to the GTA, we did have our very own Luke Nicol, Experiential Producer, fly out to Austin, Texas for the launch of Grenade Protein Bars in Costco stores across the State. 

Over the span of four days, the team targeted central hotspots – retail stores, busy downtown locations, and of course, gyms – and it paid off! We set a goal to distribute 12,000 protein bars over the weekend, and our goal was achieved.  

Not only did we get the word out, but we got to show everyone what Grenade was all about.

Fujifilm 

This activation will take us to a few different places this summer, but the first stop was Electric Island! 

One of the first and only booths you saw as you entered, Fujifilm welcomed festival goers with bright, neon coloured signage and an activation that wasn’t just about capturing a moment, but a memory.  

People who joined us for the weekend could take cute photos with their friends thanks to our giant prop cutouts and leave with the actual Instax Print – a little memento of the festival to takeaway. A few lucky guests even got to walk away from our booth with their own cameras, giving them the ability to capture memories of their own on film, whenever and wherever they want.
